I can imagine living without water for too long of a time. I was hitchhiking through the desert without a container or canteen of water. I became delirious and fearful and paranoid like the angel of death was upon me. Finally, like out of nowhere, a truck driver pulled over and let me jump in. He had a new case of clean bottled water. He reached in the case and gave me two bottles which I naturally drank. I smiled with relief, and he knew I was in trouble. Well, I helped him out with moving furniture and made some money. This experience had a good ending. My lesson was “Never be without clean water” and to this day at age 69, I have very clean water with my wife and I all the time. This is 51 years later!
